Here is how I chose the names for the characters:

“Aria”
“Aria” is a name that has a strong and elegant feel, fitting for a princess who is determined to reclaim her kingdom and restore it to its former glory. The name also has a musical connotation, which could evoke the idea of the princess being a powerful force, like a symphony, with many different elements and strengths working together. The name “Aria” also has a Latin origin which means “air” or “breath”, this could represent the princess being a breath of fresh air for her kingdom and people.

Aria has been redesigned to match the new art style of the game

“Kaldor”
“Kaldor” is a name that evokes a sense of strength, wisdom, and leadership, which would be fitting for a knight who is the loyal guard to holder of the key for the magic orb. The name is derived from Old Norse, where “kald” means cold and “or” means spear, together it creates the meaning of “cold spear” which represents a leader who is fierce and decisive. The name “Kaldor” also has a regal and powerful feel that could work well for a fantasy-inspired story.

“Zoltar”
“Zoltar” is a name that evokes a sense of mystery, power and treachery, which would be fitting for a sorcerer who killed the king and stole the magic orb for his own gain. The name has a slight Eastern European feel to it and it could be associated with a dark sorcerer who is willing to do anything to achieve his goals. It could also evoke the idea of a powerful and imposing figure, with a sinister and mysterious air.
“Eldrida”
“Eldrida” is a name that evokes a sense of ancient history and magical power, which would be fitting for a kingdom that is home to a powerful magic orb. The name is derived from “Eld” meaning old or ancient and “rida” meaning prosperity, which is a perfect combination for a kingdom that was once thriving but now trying to restore it’s glory. The name “Eldrida” also has a mythical and magical feel that could work well for a fantasy-inspired story.
